Emily and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and went North to the Bayfield Peninsula to do some hiking. Our first hike was to Lost Creek Falls which is inland. During all the hikes we were thankful for no mosquitoes.

After the hike we went to Howl Gear Shop/Adventure Club Brewing. An impressive gear shop/bike shop and a nice brewery.

Houghton Falls protects a picturesque pre-Cambrian sandstone gorge along the Lake Superior shore. An easy hike in and some great scenery.

On the way home we went to Da Lous Pizza in Washburn. They make an amazing wood fired pizza (Had the Ti Amo - pesto,artichokes,onion,roasted peppers,kalamata olives,feta, mozzarella) . We took our pies down to the lake and enjoyed.
